Crypto payment blocked by insufficient gas: India guide

crypto payments in Indiawallet insufficient gasCryptoSe app

An insufficient-gas message usually concerns the blockchain transaction fee, not the INR amount owed to the merchant. A wallet can hold enough USDT yet lack the native asset required to submit that token transfer on its network.

First establish whether a transaction was actually broadcast. A blocked wallet confirmation and a pending on-chain transaction are different situations and require different responses.

CryptoSe is coming soon. This guide explains a proposed crypto-to-INR payment approach. Contact CryptoSe to confirm current access, KYC, supported assets and networks, merchant eligibility and written terms before transferring funds. It does not claim universal acceptance or that the service is available for your purchase today.

    What to confirm before authorisation

Read the wallet’s network name and fee estimate. Confirm with CryptoSe that this network is supported for your intended transaction. If a fee balance is needed, obtain it only through a method you understand and verify; support should never require your recovery phrase.

Do not switch networks merely because a different one appears cheaper. Token balances and destination instructions are network-specific. After resolving the fee issue, confirm the quote has not expired.

    Payment evidence and follow-up

Save the error text without exposing wallet secrets. If there is a transaction hash, include it in your support request; if none was created, state that clearly. Ask the merchant about the invoice deadline while the payment is unresolved.

How to discuss this payment with CryptoSe

Send the team the intended purchase, final INR amount and the specific issue described above. Ask whether it can support this payment and request a current, itemised quote. Verify every instruction through official channels. In the proposed merchant flow, conversion and INR settlement are separate: the merchant receives rupees, not USDT or other crypto over UPI.

Review how CryptoSe works and supported assets for context, but reconfirm the exact network and transaction eligibility with the team. Only authorise a transfer after you understand the instructions, costs and expected evidence. Keep the seller’s receipt as well as the crypto transaction record.

    Indian tax and cost considerations

No fixed rate, fee or completion time is offered in this article. Section 194S provides for 1% TDS subject to applicable conditions and thresholds; TDS is a tax credit, not a platform fee. Income from VDA transfers is generally subject to Section 115BBH at 30%, plus applicable surcharge and cess. Using crypto for a purchase does not automatically remove transfer-related tax obligations. Retain acquisition and transfer records and ask a qualified CA about your circumstances.

Ask CryptoSe about your payment before moving assets. Describe the invoice and any deadline without sharing wallet secrets.
